Fireworks!

On the night of the 4th of July we did fireworks at our house. We had the neighbor boy and his mom come over to join us. Sam helped Justin with the water bucket for safety, but he still got burnt by a sparkler on the top of his little head. We went to see the city fireworks after we were done. It was a fun and late night :)

4th of July at the splashpad

For the 4th of July, we took the kids to the park and the splashpad. We ate donuts and had a blast!

Swimming

We took the kids and went swimming at our community pool. Sam didn't like the water temperature so he started crying. We didn't have anywhere to put him, so Justin decided to try and put him in the lost and found box with all of the toys. He LOVED it! Now when we go swimming, we know that even if Sam gets hornery, we can just stick him in the box, and he's just fine :)

So you think you can dance?

My kids are HUGE fans of the show 'So you think you can dance?'... Everytime we watch it we have to pause it after every dance so we can watch our kids do thier version of the dances :) Sam likes to dance on the table ;) and the girls like to to tricks, ballet, and spin each other in the air! It's cute, but it takes a long time to watch the show ;)

Snail Farmers

The girls decided to be snail farmers and make a little rock house for their new 'pets'. They had a bedroom, a kitchen, the mom and dad's room, and a playroom :) They found a lot of snails and took care of them and fed them for a few days before they got bored and put them back where they found them :)

Rain Tag

We were all going to go swimming, when it started to pour! Our weather here is so unpredictable! So instead of swimming, we played tag on our front lawn in the rain :)

Prince'ess' Sam

Poor Sam... His sisters love to dress him up like them. He's learning though, now he know's how to take off the crowns and dresses ;)

Binky

Sam likes to play a cute game with his binky. He gives you 'kisses' with the binky in his mouth and then leaves it there. When he realizes that you have his binky, he gives you 'kisses' again to get it back :)

'UP' 3-D

We took the kids and the cousins to go see 'UP' in 3-D. It was such a cute movie :)

Bounce House!

Justin won a mini bounce house for the kids! They had so much fun with it! He got some ball-pit balls to add some fun and they played for hours and hours and hours!

Vernal Vaca

We took a mini-vaca to Vernal to clear our heads, and get a grip on what we need to do to survive through this tough time with the economy. While we were there, we decided to try out Justin's zipline. He built it when he was a teenager and it was a lot of fun!

This is Justin's Dad's house and property. It's a kids wonderland, cuz they can run around for miles and never go off the property! :)

Justin decided to go down the zipline with Ali to weigh it down so she would go farther, but they ended up slamming into each other :(

Sam loves hanging out on the front lawn with family :)

On the ride home Sam got into the cookie bag and by the time we realized what he was eating, he (and his car seat) was covered in frosting!

We followed a traveling carnival for about 3 hours!

Sam is like our own personal puppy, he eats whatever falls on the floor ;)

Our friends Charles and LaRee have cats, and everytime we go over there Sam tries to grab them and pull thier tails :) It was a nice weekend, and we did clear our heads and figure out where we're going in life... for now ;)
